KYIV. Sept 19 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The draft state budget for 2024 provides for an increase in budget expenditures for the purchase of medicines and medical equipment to UAH 12.4 billion.
As reported by the State Enterprise Medical Procurement of Ukraine on its Telegram channel, in particular, the project provides for UAH 2.8 billion for the purchase of medical equipment, and UAH 9.4 billion for the centralized purchase of medicines and medical devices.
In particular, it is planned to purchase medicines for the treatment of oncology, hemophilia, orphan diseases, medical products for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, endoprostheses and implantation kits, hearing aids, products for the treatment of injuries (including combat), etc.
As reported, the draft state budget for 2024 provides for funding of the healthcare system in the amount of UAH 198.422 billion, including funding for the Medical Guarantee Program – UAH 158.757 billion.
