DTEK restores power supply to 128,000 subscribers in Kyiv, Donetsk, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk regions during New Year's week and holidays

KYIV. Jan 5 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Between December 26, 2022 and January 3, 2023, DTEK restored power supply to 128,000 families that were left without power due to the shelling by Russian invaders.

"These are 80 settlements affected by the hostilities in Kyiv, Donetsk, Odesa and Dnipropetrovsk regions," the company said on Wednesday.

Specialists of distribution system operators (DSOs) of DTEK Grids start repairing damaged equipment immediately after receiving the relevant permits from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

As of January 4, in the city of Kyiv, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Odesa regions, despite the difficult situation in the power system, it is possible to introduce power outages according to stabilization schedules, the energy holding said.

"The distribution system operators will be able to comply with the schedules if there are no new attacks on the energy system," DTEK said.
