KYIV. Nov 21 (Interfax-Ukraine) – In October 2023, the Export Credit Agency (ECA) insured export credit agreements in the amount of UAH 199 million, of which UAH 11 million (UAH 446.46 million of future export revenue), and individual solutions for companies – UAH 188 million (UAH 1.37 billion).
As reported on the ECA website, in January-October 2023, the agency supported exports for UAH 4.99 billion and insured UAH 800.4 million in financing issued by banks to Ukrainian exporters for the implementation of contacts. In October, these figures amounted to UAH 1.81 billion and UAH 199 million, respectively.
In terms of volumes of supported exports, the first place was taken by MTB Bank (UAH 769 million), the second by Oschadbank (UAH 446.46 million), and the third by Ukreximbank (UAH 385.5 million). In terms of the volume of financing insured by the ECA for exporters in October, Ukrgasbank was in first place (UAH 134.5 million), Ukreximbank was in second (UAH 38.28 million), and MTB Bank was in third (UAH 15.25 million).
The most supported exports in October were in Lviv region (UAH 769 million), Chernivtsi (UAH 446.46 million) and Zhytomyr (UAH 385.5 million).
Among the countries to which ECA already supports exports, Poland was the undisputed leader (UAH 1.15 billion).
The most popular groups of foreign trade activities were: printing ink, plastic products and textile products.
