KYIV. Nov 7 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Investment holding EFI Group (Effective Investments) of businessman Ihor Liski has invested more than UAH 12 million in the restoration of the Forest Technology timber processing enterprise (Zhytomyr region), which received significant damage in the spring due to rocket fire by Russian invaders.
According to a report on the company’s website, the enterprise processing about 35,000 cubic meters of wood a year completely halted due to the shelling – every production workshop was damaged, and the fuel pellet production workshop was almost completely destroyed.
Investors financed the repair work at their own expense, providing jobs for 120 workers.
"Realizing the importance of the enterprise for the region and the country’s economy, we decided to invest our own funds to restore the plant. It was not easy to decide to do this, because the scale of the destruction was huge. In addition to the time for restoration, it took significant funds and elementary logistical capabilities for supplies," the majority investor of Forest Technology Ihor Liski said.
According to the company, an integrated approach to repair work at the enterprise allows predicting its full-fledged launch in the first ten days of November.
