Energoatom plans to pay off its dispatch debt to Ukrenergo by year end

KYIV. Oct 25 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The state enterprise Energoatom plans to fully repay the debt for dispatch control services to NPC Ukrenergo by the end of 2023.

“Since the beginning of 2023, the State Enterprise Energoatom has paid NPC Ukrenergo UAH 4.7 billion for dispatch control services. By the end of this year, the company plans to pay another UAH 2.8 billion to fully repay the debt for these services and make current payments in accordance with the terms of the agreement,” the company reported on Telegram on Wednesday.

At the same time, according to the company, the constant increase in Ukrenergo’s tariffs for its own services for dispatching and transporting electricity through grids leads to a significant imbalance, redistribution of funds in favor of Ukrenergo and the formation of large debts in the energy market.

As reported with reference to board chairman of Ukrenergo Volodymyr Kudrytsky, the debt of market participants to the company for electricity transmission tariff in September decreased by UAH 700 million, to UAH 20.6 billion, dispatch tariff – by UAH 500 million, UAH to 9.5 billion.
