KYIV. Oct 27 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The power unit of one of the thermal power plants, which was repaired, added 117 MW to the energy system, the Ministry of Energy reported.
“The electricity produced by Ukrainian power plants is quite sufficient to supply consumers,” the Ministry of Energy noted on Telegram.
Ukrenergo, for its part, pointed out that there are no grounds for restrictions on household and legal consumers. At the same time, the system operator noted that, despite the warming, the evening maximum electricity consumption on Thursday was 4.7% higher than on Wednesday, October 25.
At the same time, according to him, rainy weather left eight settlements in Kirovohrad and Poltava regions without electricity, and for technical reasons, consumers were disconnected in Sumy and Chernihiv regions. Repair work is ongoing.
Due to hostilities and other reasons, 415 settlements remain without electricity.
According to Ukrenergo data (data for Moldova is not currently displayed on the ENTSO-E website), imports and exports of electricity from/to Slovakia and Moldova are approximately at the same level as yesterday – 458 MWh and 3,324 MWh respectively.
