Expocentre of Ukraine receives 2.6 mln visitors in 2022

KYIV. Jan 3 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Expocentre of Ukraine national complex (Kyiv) received 2.6 million visitors during 2022, its CEO Yevhen Mushkin said on his Facebook page.

According to him, in 2021 this figure was 5.5 million people.

"March and April – together 40,000, a drop of 16 times compared to the same period in 2021. There were almost no events during the year, so attendance from events (previously it was 60% of all visitors) practically zeroed out. Organic attendance (just for a walk) has grown," Mushkin said in a comment to the Interfax-Ukraine agency.

Earlier, he reported that on December 31, a blast from a Russian missile blew out the windows in the buildings of the Expocentre of Ukraine. In particular, the greenhouse, pavilions 1 and 5 were damaged.
