KYIV. Jan 18 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Express Insurance (Kyiv) collected UAH 722.2 million in insurance premiums in 2023, which is 56.7% more than in 2022, according to its website.
According to the information released, the number of contracts concluded in 2023 increased by 2.1 times compared to 2022 and by 32.1% compared to the same period in 2021 (before the full-scale invasion).
In particular, premiums under KASKO amounted to UAH 621.9 million, which is 51.6% more than a year earlier. Premiums for OSAGO insurance (UAH 81.7 million) increased 2.1 times.
Premiums for voluntary health insurance amounted to UAH 10.8 million (more 38.4%), for other types of insurance – UAH 7.8 million (more 55.7%).
In December 2023, Express Insurance attracted UAH 70.6 million in premiums, which is a third more (more 32.7%) compared to December 2022.
In particular, premiums for KASKO amounted to UAH 58.9 million (more 21.5%), for OSAGO – UAH 9.8 million (more 146.6%).
As reported, Express Insurance paid insurance compensation in the amount of UAH 331.1 million in 2023, which is 41.5% more than in 2022.
Payments under KASKO amounted to UAH 288.5 million, which is 39.4% more than in 2022, OSAGO – UAH 31.5 million (more 42.3%), voluntary health insurance – UAH 6.5 million, 2.5 times more than last year. Payments for other types of insurance amounted to UAH 4.6 million (more 98.6%).
The company also reported that in December 2023 it paid clients UAH 33.1 million, which is UAH 6.6 million higher than in the same period last year. In particular, payments under KASKO for the past year amounted to UAH 29.8 million (more 33.6%), under OSAGO – UAH 2.8 million (less 19.4% compared to December 2022).
Express Insurance was founded in 2008 with the participation of UkrAVTO Corporation. Since April 2012, it has been an associated member of the Motor Transport Insurance Bureau of Ukraine.
