Farmak pays UAH 593 mln in taxes for ten months of 2022

KYIV. Nov 29 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Farmak pharmaceutical company paid more than UAH 593 million in taxes to the budgets of all levels in January-October 2022.

According to a company press release, the company paid the first UAH 106 million in advance, immediately after the start of the war, to support the state.

At the same time, the company emphasizes that Farmak suffered losses of UAH 1.5 billion due to the destruction of a warehouse with finished products and packaging materials near Kyiv by the enemy, but at the same time decided not to use the tax deferral introduced by the Ukrainian government for all enterprises, who have difficulties with their payment under martial law.

"Timely payment of taxes helps us make a significant contribution to supporting the economy during the war. We will continue to be the backbone and reliable partner of the state in this difficult time," said Volodymyr Kostiuk, the executive director of Farmak.

In addition, the enterprise provides powerful assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the population affected during the war. Farmak has already spent more than UAH 45 million on this.

As reported, despite the war, the company opened a new site for the production of nebulizer drugs for the treatment of respiratory diseases, launched 11 new products on the market, and plans to release six more before the end of the year.
