Fozzy Group applies to Bonduelle head office for refutation of provision of Russian troops with company's goods

KYIV. Jan 10 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Fozzy Group stopped the planned purchases of products from the French Bonduelle and turned to the company’s head office for a refutation of the provision of the Russian troops with its goods.

"We have stopped all planned purchases of Bonduelle products for Silpo and are removing products from the shelves. Additionally, we have contacted Bonduelle’s head office with a request to officially refute any interaction with the Russian troops," the group’s press service told Interfax-Ukraine.

Earlier, Ukrainian retailers Novus and Varus refused to sell the products of the French company Bonduelle because of information about its support for the aggression of the Russian Federation in Ukraine by providing canned vegetables to the Russian troops, who are mobilized to be sent to war in Ukraine. Auchan Ukraine also decided to withdraw products from the shelves of its supermarkets, according to the network’s Facebook page.

As reported, the National Agency on Corruption Prevention of Ukraine on January 5 called for sanctions against the French producer of frozen and canned vegetables Bonduelle because of the scandal with humanitarian aid for the Russian army.
