KYIV. Dec 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – A group of G7 Ambassadors has developed recommendations for reforming the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine (SAPO), the Japanese representation in the group of G7 Ambassadors said on X on Tuesday.
“G7 Ambassadors are watching SAPO reform closely. To strengthen anti-corruption efforts, we recommend building on the current draft by repealing Lozovyi amendments, protecting SAPO/NABU jurisdiction, and allowing SAPO to request extradition and initiate investigations against MPs,” the ambassadors said.
