KYIV. Nov 30 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Branches of Gas Distribution Networks of Ukraine LLC, part of the Naftogaz group, have been licensed to operate in three more regions – Cherkasy, Chernihiv and Volyn.
“In war conditions, we must guarantee our customers an uninterrupted supply of gas. By expanding the customer network, we are working at the same time to ensure that all consumers receive services on time and with high quality,” Head of the Naftogaz group, Oleksiy Chernyshov, whose words are quoted in its press release on the group’s website.
The new branches will be responsible for uninterrupted gas supply routes from main gas pipelines to the end consumer.
According to the resolution of the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission of Ukraine (NEURC) dated November 29, it was decided to expand for Gas Distribution Networks LLC from December 1 the territory of production of economic activities for the distribution of natural gas to the territory of Volyn, Chernihiv regions and parts of the settlements of the Cherkasy region, where the gas distribution system is located.
Today, Gas Distribution Networks serves 7.7 million customers through 17 branches: Vinnytsia, Volyn, Dniprovsky, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Kryvy Rih, Kropyvnytsky, Lviv, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kharkiv city, Khmelnytsky, Cherkasy and Chernihiv.
