BERLIN. Nov 13 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Germany will significantly expand assistance to Ukraine next year, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock said on Monday in Brussels.
“We will significantly increase support next year,” the Associated Press (AP) quoted her as saying.
Baerbock also promised that Germany would actively help Ukraine in the coming winter months.
Last week, German media reported that, according to their data, the German government intends to allocate EUR 8 billion in 2024 to provide military assistance to Ukraine. This is twice as much as originally planned.
