KYIV. Oct 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Cabinet of Ministers has canceled the requirements for weight restrictions for vehicles transporting goods for the purpose of their use in ensuring the defense capability of the state during martial law.
As the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk, said in his Telegram on Friday, the relevant decision was made at a government meeting on Friday.
In particular, changes were made to the road rules, which established: during the period of martial law in Ukraine and within three months from the date of its termination or the abolition, the requirements of the road rules to grant a permit for the transportation of goods exceeding the overall weight parameters, do not apply to vehicles carrying out the transportation of goods for the purpose of their use in ensuring the defense capability of the state by decision of the military command in whose interests such transportation is carried out.
