Govt introduces ex-head of Kyiv Regional State Administration Volodin to Naftogaz board

KYIV. Jan 11 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine appointed Vasyl Volodin to the board of NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy for the period until the decision on the creation of the board is made by the new composition of the company’s supervisory board, but no later than April 29, 2023.

The decision is enshrined in government decree No. 15-r dated January 6, 2023, the text of which was published on the government portal.

From June 17, 2020 to February 8, 2022, Volodin headed Kyiv Regional State Administration, and from June to November 2022 he worked as the State Secretary of the Ministry for the Development of Communities and Territories, which at that time was headed by the current Naftogaz CEO, Oleksiy Chernyshov.

The board of Naftogaz also includes Mavriky Kalugin and Roman Chumak.
