Health Ministry continues communication with flu vaccine producers to increase supply – Liashko

KYIV. Nov 25 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Health Ministry of Ukraine continues to communicate with manufacturers of influenza vaccines, discussing an increase in the supply of these medicines, Health Minister of Ukraine Viktor Liashko has said.

"We have flu vaccine, but not as much as we would like to have in stock. We continue to work with manufacturers to bring them [vaccines] to the territory of Ukraine," he said on air of the national telethon on Friday.

Liashko said that around 160,000 doses of influenza vaccine were delivered to Ukraine and sent to vaccinate the military and doctors who "want to be vaccinated."

The minister also said that currently the flu vaccine is also available at pharmacies.

Liashko also recalled that there is a sufficient amount of COVID-19 vaccine in Ukraine.
