By KYIV. Dec 7 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Danylo Hetmantsev, head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Taxation and Customs Policy, says that there is no potential for introducing additional benefits for the cultural and creative industries in Ukraine, and urges them to work honestly.
"The benefits that we have provided for today are the maximum. This is really a very preferential treatment for creative industries. And what we must do with you within these benefits is to work in the open manner, so that, for example, the cinema that pays taxes, does not go into the red, just because the neighboring one does not pay taxes and has an additional margin because of this," he said at the Creative Ukraine forum on Wednesday.
Hetmantsev stressed that he did not see the potential for introducing additional benefits for the creative industries of Ukraine.
"On the other hand, I see the potential for everyone to follow the same rules. The law is the same for everyone," the MP added.
