KYIV. Oct 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Verkhovna Rada Committee on Humanitarian and Information Policy supported the adoption of the bill "On amendments to certain legislative acts for parents to decide issues on temporary departure of children out of Ukraine" (No.146).
"Its purpose is to ensure that each parent who is a citizen of Ukraine can provide consent to the temporary departure of a child under 16 years of age from Ukraine, accompanied by the other parent, by entering information about such consent into the state register of civil status of citizens directly by one of the parents. through the Unified State Web Portal of Electronic Services or by a notary on the basis of a notarized written consent," deputy head of the committee Yevheniya Kravchuk (Servant of the People faction) said on her Facebook page.
The parliamentarian said we are talking about a situation with voluntary consent, and in all other cases, the parties should apply to the court, which can cancel the previously given consent or deny the right to take the child abroad without the consent of the second parent.
