KYIV. Sept 19 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal estimated the anti-corruption and economic effect of digitalization over the past two years at more than UAH 16 billion.
“We have created and launched an effective anti-corruption vertical. Digitalization eliminates the human factor and brings public services one click closer to people. Over two years, its anti-corruption and economic effect amounted to more than UAH 16 billion,” Shmyhal said at a government meeting on Tuesday.
The prime minister also noted that the government, through deregulation, is removing bureaucratic barriers and also revising thousands of permits, licenses and certificates. “Some will be completely abolished, some will be simplified, some will be converted into digital data,” he said.
