KYIV. Sept 19 (Interfax-Ukraine) – As of September 19, some 406 settlements remain without electricity in Ukraine due to hostilities or other reasons.
“As a result of rocket and artillery attacks, there is damage to networks in Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, and Kherson regions. Power restoration is taking place in a security situation and with the permission of the military,” NPC Ukrenergo reported on Tuesday.
Also, due to technical reasons, there is a loss of power to consumers in Chernihiv region; repair work continues.
As the company informed, on Monday, September 18, in order to balance the energy system, the operation of renewable energy generation was once again limited from 12:16 to 13:31 with a maximum power of 300 MW in certain hours.
Ukrenergo noted that on Tuesday, electricity was imported from Slovakia with a total volume of 790 MWh, with a maximum power of up to 200 MW in certain hours.
Exports are carried out to Slovakia and Moldova with a total volume of 3,840 MWh, with a maximum power in individual hours of up to 381 MW.
