KYIV. Jan 29 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The income of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and members of his family, according to the declaration for 2021, amounted to UAH 10.824 million, reports the website of the head of state on Sunday, with reference to the presidential declaration on property, income, expenses and financial obligations character for 2021 and 2022.
Of the total income of the Zelenskyy family in 2021, some UAH 5.360 million was income from the sale of domestic government loan bonds. The rest of the income consisted of wages, bank interest and income from the provision of real estate for rent, for a total of UAH 5.465 million.
It is reported that the income of the president’s family in 2021 compared to 2020 decreased by UAH 11.922 million. The balance of funds of the family of the head of state also decreased by the end of 2021, the report says.
According to the declaration for 2022, the income of Zelenskyy and his family members amounted to UAH 3.693 million, and the balance of funds of the family of the head of state by the end of 2022 decreased by almost UAH 1.800 million.
“The income of the president’s family for 2022 decreased due to the temporary termination of lease agreements on the territory of Ukraine as a result of the start of full-scale Russian aggression against our country,” the statement says.
It is also noted that Zelenskyy continues to be the owner of a number of trademarks. In 2021, the process of registering 22 trademarks, which began before his election as president, was completed.
Other changes in 2021 and 2022 regarding assets, real estate, vehicles, etc. did not happen, the report states.
