KAN Development completes energy-intensive stages of construction, work on construction sites continues – CEO

KYIV. Nov 29 (Interfax-Ukraine) – KAN Development has completed the energy-intensive stages of construction, work on construction sites continues, General Director of the company Hlib Murovansky told Interfax-Ukraine.

"Our principled position is not to stop. We assumed that the winter would be difficult, so we resumed work as quickly as possible in the spring and have already completed those production processes that require a large amount or constant availability of electricity," he said.

Murovansky specified that the monolithic works, which are the most energy-intensive stage, had been completed in accordance with the schedule. Wall laying, facade, roofing, glazing, landscaping, etc. continue at construction sites. There are production processes that do not depend on electricity, but on the temperature regime, for example, roofing, which cannot be carried out at temperatures below minus 15 degrees Celsius.

"We have a good momentum in commissioning. In the current position, our general contractor and those involved in production processes have minimized all energy-intensive processes. Change houses for workers are equipped with generators. We continue to build," Murovansky said.

In 2022, two houses with a total area of apartments of 15,806 square meters and commercial premises – 2,458 square meters were put into operation in the Fayna Town residential complex. Also, before the end of the year, it is planned to put into operation two more houses with a total area of apartments – 14,917 square meters and commercial premises – 1,742 square meters. In addition to the buildings that will be put into operation in 2022, work has been actively carried out on the construction of houses of the eighth and ninth stages of construction with a total area of 39,082 square meters.

Much attention was also paid to landscaping works – a new large playground was opened between the third and sixth stages of construction, the first part of the common alley of the complex was opened. Also in 2022, the Fanny Fayna Center for Children and Youth Creativity was opened.

The expert added that long-term power outages would lead to a corresponding slowdown in processes.
