Kokhavynska paper mill increases production by 44% in ten months

KYIV. Nov 22 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Kokhavynska paper mill (Lviv region), which produces sanitary and hygienic paper products (the Kokhavynka trademark), in January-October 2022, produced products worth UAH 783.68 million, which is 43.9% more than for the same period in 2021.

According to the statistics of the UkrPapir association, provided to Interfax-Ukraine, thus, the factory has slightly increased the growth rate of this indicator compared to the same last year – over the first nine months it was 40.8%.

In quantity terms, production of base paper for sanitary and hygienic products increased by 4%, to 33,800 tonnes. At the same time, production of toilet paper in rolls increased by 17.2%, to 108.7 million pieces, which remains the second largest indicator after Kyivsky cardboard and paper mill (273.2 million pieces).

In general, the main enterprises of the industry during this period produced more than 476.5 million rolls of paper (17.4% less compared to January-October 2021).

Kokhavynska paper mill, which has been operating since 1939, produces base paper for sanitary and hygienic products, as well as toilet paper and paper towels. The capacity of paper machines is 19,000 tonnes per year, processing equipment is 90 million rolls per year.

The mill has practically not stopped production since the beginning of this year.
