KYIV. May 11 (Interfax-Ukraine) – In January-April of this year, Kryvy Rih Iron Ore Plant cut the production of marketable underground iron ore by 31.4% compared to the same period last year, to 805,000 tonnes.
According to the company, in April, the Pokrovska mine produced 60,000 tonnes of ore, Kryvy Rih – 70,000 tonnes, Kozatska – 55,000 tonnes and Ternovska also 55,000 tonnes, in general for the plant in April 240,000 tonnes were mined.
As reported, Kryvy Rih Iron Ore Plant in 2022 reduced the production of marketable underground iron ore by 32.8% compared to the previous year, to 2.888 million tonnes.

Starmill Limited owns 99.88% of the mill’s shares.
Earlier it was reported that the SCM group owns a certain stake in Kryvy Rih Iron Ore Plant, while the Metinvest group has nothing to do with Kryvy Rih Iron Ore Plant. At the same time, the SCM group is only an investor, and the operational control at the plant is carried out by the Privat group.
