Kyiv allocates UAH 150 mln for generators for critical infrastructure facilities

KYIV. Dec 8 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Kyiv City Council has approved the allocation of UAH 150 million to housing maintenance enterprises for the purchase of additional generators and fuel.

"We are preparing for different scenarios. We equip heating points, purchase and attract generators and equipment as assistance first of all, for critical infrastructure facilities. And today we have allocated an additional UAH 150 million for this. The whole city, absolutely all buildings can’t be connected to generators. Therefore, we must be ready in case of massive strikes for different scenarios," the press service of Kyiv City Council quoted the mayor of the capital Vitali Klitschko as saying.

According to him, Kyiv also continues to attract assistance for the passage of winter from foreign partners.
