Kyiv has enough capacity to provide energy to household consumers, situation to improve tomorrow – K. Tymoshenko

KYIV. Dec 29 (Interfax-Ukraine) – At the moment, there are no serious problems with power supply in Kyiv, the capital has enough capacity to supply electricity not only to critical infrastructure, but also to household consumers, Deputy Head of the President’s Office Kyrylo Tymoshenko said.

"There are no big problems in Kyiv now, and we hope that the situation will improve tomorrow. Our power engineers worked all last week to stabilize the situation in the so-called Kyiv hub. They succeeded. I think that everyone saw this at Christmas in weekends, when virtually all household consumers had electricity throughout Kyiv. And I think that now our power engineers will work for a few more hours in this mode – and there will be a normal power supply in Kyiv," the press service of the President’s Office quoted Tymoshenko.
