KYIV. Nov 1 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The telecom operator Kyivstar will allocate a total of UAH 300 million for digitalization, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine said.

At the same time, the ministry said that half of this amount had already been transferred to the state account through the UNITED24 platform.

"These funds will be used to modernize and build Ukraine’s digital infrastructure, strengthen cyber defense and counter cyber threats, and further develop new digital technologies," the statement said.

Of these, UAH 84.9 million will be distributed to the priority areas of the Ministry of Digital Development – projects that contribute to strengthening the security and reliability of digital infrastructure during the full-scale war.

The funds, in particular, will be directed to the development of basic state registries of the Ministry of Justice, which will allow launching new digital services in social and construction sectors, as well as the implementation of projects for the digital transformation of notaries (e-Notary) and consignment notes (e-TTN).

In addition, they will be used to modernize the transport registers of the Interior Ministry, which involves the launch of digital services for registering and re-registering cars in Diia, issuing digital driver’s licenses, etc.

At the same time, the Ministry of Digital Development thanked Kyivstar for its contribution to the development of digital Ukraine.
