By KYIV. Dec 29 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The largest Ukrainian mobile operator Kyivstar has resumed operation of the largest company store in Kherson on Svobody Square, which was closed since the beginning of the invasion of the Russian Federation, the company’s press service reported.
"We have already reopened 95% of Kyivstar branded stores throughout Ukraine," Kostiantyn Doronin, the head of the Kyivstar monobrand sales channel, said.
The company recalled that recently it has opened customer service centers in Balakliya, Chuhuyiv, Derhachi, Izium, Kupiansk and Kherson, liberated from the invaders.
Kyivstar also indicated that 56 base stations are currently operating in Kherson region, and the operation of the "home Internet" is being resumed in the regional center: more than 50% of the network in the city is already operating.
In addition, the mobile operator announced that, as a Microsoft certified partner in Ukraine, next year it will continue to offer licensed Microsoft Azure cloud services and Microsoft 365 service to business customers on preferential terms that provide for free use of certain services.
For new connections to Microsoft Azure services and during this period, special conditions may also be provided for their use until November 30, 2023, Kyivstar pointed out.
The company clarified that the relevant conditions are determined by the individual needs of customers after professional consultations with the operator’s specialists, however, in general, they depend on the decisions made by the service provider, Microsoft, and can be changed directly by the provider at any time.
Kyivstar is the largest Ukrainian telecommunications operator. It provides communications and data transmission services based on a wide range of mobile and fixed technologies, including 3G. Until the end of 2021, about 26.2 million mobile subscribers and about 1.2 million fixed Internet customers used its services.
