Less than half of MTIBU members have high scores for OSAGO main criteria in Q3 2023

KYIV. Nov 13 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Motor (Transport) Insurance Bureau of Ukraine (MTIBU) has published an assessment of the activities of insurance companies providing compulsory insurance of civil liability for land vehicle owners for the third quarter of 2023.

According to data on the MTIBU website, out of 35 members of the bureau, data from 34 insurance companies were published based on three criteria. Unives did not provide sufficient quarterly data.

Of the 34 companies that provided data, 16 insurance companies had high indicators for all main criteria (overall performance assessment, quality of loss settlement, level of complaints from victims) at the end of the third quarter of 2023 (20 for the second quarter), namely ARX, Arsenal Insurance, ASKO-DS, Vuso, Guarantee, Guardian, Express Insurance, European Insurance Alliance, INGO, Kniazha Vienna Insurance Group, Oranta, PZU Ukraine, TAS, Universalna, UNIQA, UPSK.

According to the bureau, Premier Alliance, Salamandra, and Credo showed a low assessment of the quality of settlement of insurance claims.

Credo has a low score in terms of the level of complaints from victims and policyholders.

The MTIBU is the only association of insurers that provides compulsory insurance of civil liability of owners of land vehicles for damage caused to third parties.
