By KYIV. Oct 25 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Director of the Ptukha Institute for Demography and Social Studies Ella Libanova believes that Ukraine will not be able to return more than half of the military migrants.
“Some of the military migrants will return. I hope that we will be able to return half. More is unlikely,” she said at the Human capital UA forum on Wednesday.
According to Libanova, the diaspora is not only those who left several generations ago, it also includes citizens who left two years ago because of the war. “They can provide us with not only investments, not only this is their value. The main thing is that they form a positive image of Ukraine and Ukrainians abroad,” she added.
