Lithuania sends equipment to Ukraine worth almost EUR 100,000 to repair damaged by Russia electrical substations, gas pipelines

KYIV. Oct 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Lithuanian electricity transmission system operator Litgrid and the main natural gas transportation operator in Lithuania Amber Grid have sent Ukraine equipment worth almost EUR 100,000 to repair damaged electrical substations and gas pipelines in the Russian Federation.

“In view of Russia’s targeted destruction of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, Litgrid and Amber Grid have urgently shipped equipment worth almost EUR 100,000 to repair damaged electricity substations and gas pipelines. The aid will be channeled through the NGO Blue/Yellow,” the Lithuanian operator Litgrid of electricity transmission system said on Friday.
