LONDON. Dec 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The United Kingdom will announce sanctions on foreign legal entities and individuals supplying Russia with equipment and component parts with a possible military use on Wednesday, the British Foreign Office said.
“Foreign suppliers exporting equipment and parts to Russia are among dozens of individuals and groups to be sanctioned,” the Foreign Office said.
The sanctions would be imposed on “military suppliers” providing Russia with the resources it needs to continue the special military operation.
The sanctions announcement was made in the Foreign Office’s press release on Foreign Secretary David Cameron’s visit to the United States that begins on Wednesday.
The visit aims “to reaffirm both the strength of the UK’s relationship with its closest strategic ally and our unwavering support for Ukraine,” the Office said.
The sides will also discuss the Middle East, humanitarian aid to the Gaza conflict victims, and “how the UK and U.S. can work towards enabling a long-term two-state solution which allows both Israelis and Palestinians to live together in peace,” the Foreign Office said.
