LVIV. Nov 30 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The budget of Lviv region for 2024 will be UAH 6.168 billion, Head of Lviv Regional Military Administration Maksym Kozytsky has said.
“The decrease in the budget amount by almost 40% compared to the current year is due to the fact that the entire military personal income tax will go to the state budget. Also, all state subsidies that were in previous years will be taken away from local budgets,” Kozytsky said at a briefing last week.
According to him, UAH 4.4 billion in the city budget for the next year will be provided for paying for energy resources, salaries for employees of public municipal institutions, and the maintenance of the latter.
It is proposed to reserve UAH 846 million for development programs, UAH 400 million of which for the Safe Lviv Region program, and another UAH 100 million for the maintenance of regional roads in winter.
At the same time, Kozytsky said that the draft budget does not include funds for celebrations, bonuses, purchases of flowers or gifts.
