KYIV. Oct 25 (Interfax-Ukraine) – JSC Vinnytsia Plant Mayak, a large Ukrainian manufacturer of heating devices and equipment for heating systems (the Termia brand), plans to produce products worth UAH 220.4 million this year and increase exports to the European Union.
Such plans are contained in the enterprise’s financial report for 2022, published in the information disclosure system of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission.
At the same time, the company reported that in 2022, taking into account the growth in demand, it produced products worth UAH 595.7 million against UAH 283.3 million a year earlier, industrial production volumes in comparative prices increased by 24.7%. Products were sold for UAH 549.5 million (in comparative prices, sales increased by 13.2%).
At the same time, the share of exports in sales volumes over the past year decreased by 2.3 times – to 18.3%, in particular, exports to Poland decreased to 13% from 23.5%. Germany’s share increased to 4.4% against 3.2% a year earlier, the share of exports to other countries amounted to 0.9%.
The largest share in the product range released in 2022 was made up of electric convectors (UAH 427.3 million or 71.7%). In addition, air heating units were produced (for UAH 69.8 million), electric stoves (for UAH 51.4 million), oil radiators (for UAH 18.8 million), electric boilers (for UAH 12.5 million) and other products.
The raw material base for production is located in Ukraine, in particular in Vinnytsia, Lviv, Kyiv, Dnipro, but in order to increase competitiveness, the plant has recently switched to imported components, including from China, Germany, Poland, Hungary, and Turkey.
