Ministry completes development of e-consignment note

KYIV. Jan 3 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Ministry of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine has completed the development of the electronic consignment note system.

As noted in the message of the ministry on Facebook on Tuesday, the first three provider companies EDIN, PTAH and AgriChain have already been tested for interaction with the e-consignment note system.

In particular, two companies (EDIN and PTAH) have already successfully completed interaction testing, and another company (AgriChain) has received recommendations to improve its software.

In general, 19 electronic document management providers have joined the e-consignment note system project, including the above-mentioned companies.

The next stage of the project – the implementation and testing of the e-consignment note system with business – begins in January 2023.

"The purpose of the stage is to improve the quality and transparency of the transportation process, significantly simplify and speed up the interaction between the consignor, carrier and consignee, eliminate corruption risks and improve doing business conditions. To prepare for the use of e-consignment note, it is enough for a business to conclude an agreement with one of the providers involved in the project," the Ministry said.

The e-consignment note is implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine and the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine with the support of the USAID/UK aid funded project Transparency and Accountability in Public Administration and Services (TAPAS) and with the participation of the NGO Institute for Analysis and Advocacy, which is the administrator of the e-consignment note system for the period of project implementation.
