MP Hetmantsev announces plan for complete switch of State Tax Service to electronic rails in 2023

KYIV. Dec 26 (Interfax-Ukraine) – A detailed plan for the complete transfer of the work of the State Tax Service to electronic rails will soon be submitted for discussion with the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation, Head of the relevant committee of the Verkhovna Rada Danylo Hetmantsev has said.

"We are preparing a big plan for the complete transition of the tax to electronic rails in 2023," he wrote in his Telegram channel on Saturday.

Among the main innovations, he named e-excise – the movement of goods under a special QR code from the manufacturer to the supplier, updating the system of automated monitoring of compliance of tax invoices with risk assessment criteria (SMKOR) taking into account the concentration on risky operations and VAT refunds – within a week from the date of application.

"E-audit is when the payer, by submitting a declaration with one click, can check it through the tax software before submitting it, identify the risks and correct them, and the State Tax Service after that cannot present any other risks. No field audits," Hetmantsev said.

He added that the project also involves the pre-filling of a tax return for payers of individuals, including sole proprietors, tax declarations, "smart sole proprietor" or full administration of taxes on sole proprietorship by the bank at his request, callbacks to payers, FAQ, quality control, updating the UX account and an interactive training base for payers and tax officials.

As the head of the committee said, a significant expansion of the possibilities for synchronizing the electronic account (API) from the taxpayer with third-party services and banks and the legalization of virtual assets/cryptocurrencies is also expected.
