NBU net sales last week jump to $873 mln

KYIV. 18 (Interfax-Ukraine) – A net sale of U.S. dollars by the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) in the second week of September grew to $873.1 million from $302.3 million weeks earlier, which is the highest indicator this year.

According to the NBU information on his website, from September 11 to September 15, the purchase of currency fell to a meager $0.05 million, while the sale jumped from $ 302.7 million to $ 873.1 million.

In the cash market, the U.S. dollar at the end of the week went up by 20 kopecks, approaching the level of UAH 38.20/$1. On Monday, Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko announced that the draft state budget 2024 included an average annual exchange rate of UAH 41.40/$1.
