Nearly 80 bulkers waiting to move into Ukrainian ports under Istanbul grain deal

NEW YORK, UN. Nov 8 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Eight vessels heading to Ukrainian ports transited the maritime humanitarian corridor on Monday under the Black Sea Grain Initiative, the Joint Coordination Center (JCC) said.

"The Joint Coordination Centre (JCC) reports that on November 7 eight inbound vessels transited the maritime humanitarian corridor under the Black Sea Grain Initiative heading towards Ukrainian ports," the center said.

Furthermore, there are currently 77 vessels waiting to move into Ukrainian ports plus 15 loaded vessels waiting for inspection in Turkish territorial waters.

As of November 7, the total tonnage of grain and other foodstuffs exported from the three Ukrainian ports remains 10,067,175 metric tonnes, the JCC said.
