KYIV. Nov 7 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The number of ships in the port of Izmail (Odesa region) on Monday, according to the application for monitoring naval traffic Marine Traffic, decreased by 41.2% – to 72 units, the arrival of two more ships is expected.
In addition, on this day there were nine ships in the port of Reni (Odesa region) compared to 25 last week. Another vessel is expected to arrive.
As reported, the ports of Odesa, after the termination of the Black Sea Grain Initiative, partially resumed work. According to the head of the Monitoring Group of Sanctions and Freedom of Navigation of the Institute of Black Sea Strategic Studies, Andriy Klymenko, since September 16, some 63 vessels arrived at the ports of Odesa along the temporary corridor established by the Naval Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and 36 departed.
The weekly report of Ukrzaliznytsia on Monday indicates that over the past week the average daily rate of unloading of wagons with grain at the ports of Odesa increased by 2.1 times, or by 419 wagons per day, to 798. During the week, the daily unloading rate in the Black Sea ports fluctuated in the range of 750-970 wagons per day.
