Oschadbank provides loan of UAH 250 mln to Tavria V chain

KYIV. Sept 13 (Interfax-Ukraine) – State-owned Oschadbank, within the framework of the government program Affordable Loans 5-7-9%, in August provided a revolving credit line of UAH 250 million to the private enterprise Tavria Plus, part of the Tavria V retail chain, according to a report on the financial institution’s website.

“During the period of the full-scale war, we have already concluded five loan agreements with this retail chain totally for UAH 865 million,”, Deputy Board Chairman of Oschadbank, responsible for corporate business, Yuriy Katsion said.

Director of Tavria Plus Viacheslav Pysmeniuk said that by combining different types of credit support, it was possible not only to balance payments to suppliers, but also to further develop the network.

Oschadbank has been cooperating with Tavria Plus since 2014. In addition, during 2022-2023, the enterprise additionally received support from the state-owned bank on general terms.

Oschadbank said that the credit line for Tavria V was the third such line for retail chains within the framework of the government program “Affordable Loans 5-7-9%.” Their intended purpose is to replenish working capital. The total amount of funding provided by the government program during the full-scale war reached UAH 580 million.

According to the trading network website, the Tavria V chain has been operating since 1992 and includes 135 supermarkets and shopping centers, workshops for the production of meat and fish semi-finished products, confectionery shops, culinary shops, bakeries, a brewery, sewing and knitting production, and a large logistics center. The network has 4,500 employees.

According to Opendatabot, the ultimate beneficiaries of Tavria V LLC are Borys and Mykhailo Muzalev – 60% and 40% respectively.
