KYIV. Nov 1 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Deputy Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Tymoshenko held a meeting with representatives of the coalition of organizations RISE Ukraine, which is participating in the development of an electronic management system for the recovery of Ukraine, the press service of the President’s Office reports.
"Considering the scale of the destruction caused by the Russian aggressor, reconstruction in Ukraine is an important and significant issue. Therefore, for its effective implementation, we need to join forces, in particular, with civil society," Tymoshenko said during the meeting.
He informed the representatives of RISE Ukraine about the features of the operation and filling of the online system of the destroyed objects, the information in which is updated in real time. He also informed about the functioning mechanism of the future Recovery Fund, through which reconstruction projects will be financed.
The participants in the meeting agreed to coordinate approaches to the creation of an electronic recovery management system, which RISE Ukraine is developing together with representatives of the ministries, and to conduct coordinated work on its launch.
The representatives of RISE Ukraine noted the importance of introducing into the electronic restoration management system uniform standards of project development, calculation of their cost and implementation, including the use of internationally recognized methodology. International organizations also support the principle of a synchronized approach to the recovery process.
Among other things, the basic principles of such a system were agreed upon: open by design, open data (except for defense and security-related data), involvement of the public in the creation of the system and monitoring project implementation, etc.
According to the results of the meeting, the parties agreed that the combined efforts of the state and the public will contribute to the restoration of a successful European Ukraine.
