PrivatBank launches program for purchase of John Deere agricultural equipment on credit, leasing

KYIV. Oct 25 (Interfax-Ukraine) – State-owned PrivatBank (Kyiv) has launched a program of preferential financing for the purchase of John Deere agricultural machinery for Ukrainian farmers, the bank’s press service reported.

According to the report, PrivatBank and Deere&Company, represented by John Deere Financial, signed an agreement on cooperation and the launch of a partnership program to finance the purchase of agricultural equipment on credit and leasing.

The partnership program between PrivatBank and John Deere provides preferential financing conditions with interest rates from 0.01% per annum in hryvnia and an advance payment of 20%. The maximum financing period is up to five years. The program also provides for priority consideration of applications and quick decisions with a minimum package of documents.

“Financial support for the agricultural sector has been a top priority for us since the first days of the war, because this is a matter of food security for the state. This partnership program opens up new opportunities for our clients to update their fleet of agricultural machinery from a world-famous brand on affordable terms,” member of the PrivatBank board for SMEs Yevhen Zaihrayev said.

“Another bank, PrivatBank, has joined John Deere’s financial partners in Ukraine. In these difficult times, we understand that we need to provide even more financial solutions for Ukrainian farmers and support John Deere customers with affordable financing at lower market interest rates,” General Manager of John Deere Ukraine Peter Sachse said.

According to information on the John Deere website, currently its partners in credit cooperation in Ukraine are Raiffeisen Bank, ProCreditbank, Credit Agricole Bank and state-owned Oschadbank.
