By KYIV. Dec 9 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The property of a Russian enterprise, which funded Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine, has been transferred to the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA), according to the Prosecutor General’s Office (PGO).
"The PGO proposed to transfer a real estate object with an area of more than 1,000 square meters and four vehicles, owned by the representative office of a subsidiary of PJSC Gazprom, under the management of ARMA. According to the investigation materials, the representative office of the Russian enterprise of PJSC Gazprom operates in the territory of Ukraine," it said on the Telegram channel on Friday.
The PGO said that this Russian transnational company is controlled by the Russian Federation through the Federal Agency for State Property Management.
"It pays taxes from its activities to Russia. Thus, the aggressor country’s budget is being replenished and in fact financial assistance is being provided to its armed formations during military operations against Ukraine," it said.
According to the investigation, the assets received by the representative office of Gazprom Export LLC were used for financing of Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine.
The State Bureau of Investigations (SBI) carries out a pre-trial investigation into the case on financing of activities aimed at forcible changing or overthrowing of the constitutional order or seizing state power, changing the boundaries of the territory or state border of Ukraine, and justifying, recognizing as legitimate, denying the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine (Part 4 of Article 110-2, Part 3 of Article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
