KYIV. Aug 31 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The shareholders of JSC Rubizhne Cardboard and Packaging Plant (Kyiv) plan to leave undistributed the net profit received in 2021 in the amount of UAH 473.77 million, follows from the draft decision of a general meeting of shareholders on the results of 2021, scheduled for September 29.
According to the company, by the beginning of 2022, the retained earnings of the plant amounted to almost UAH 2.756 billion.
The shareholders also plan to approve the reports of the governing bodies, the results of financial and economic activities for 2021, adopt a new version of internal documents in connection with bringing them into line with the law, disband the audit commission, and elect an auditor.
As reported, before the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Rubizhne Cardboard and Packaging Plant registered in Luhansk region (together with its subsidiary Trypilsky Packaging Plant LLC in Kyiv region) was the leader in the market of corrugated packaging manufacturers in Ukraine, and in terms of production it ranked second after Kyivsky Cardboard and Paper Mill.
After the damage, the plant in Rubizhne stopped, and the legal entity Rubizhne Cardboard and Packaging Plant was re-registered in Kyiv.
In turn, Trypilsky Packaging Plant, 99.96% of which is owned by Rubizhne Cardboard and Packaging Plant, continues to operate and increase production volumes (in 2022, its net income more than doubled to UAH 2.4 billion, in January-July -2023 grew by UAH 1.4 billion).
