KYIV. Dec 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – On Wednesday night, Russian troops once again attacked one of DTEK’s front-line thermal power plants (TPPs), the company has reported.
“The plant’s equipment was damaged. Fortunately, no casualties are reported,” DTEK said, describing the situation on its Telegram channel on Wednesday morning.
Due to the shelling, residents of one of the settlements near the plant found themselves without heating, and after the shelling stopped, the power engineers began eliminating the consequences and are making every effort to restore it as quickly as possible, DTEK said.
The company said that over the past month and a half, this is already the sixth attack by Russian aggressors on its TPPs.
As reported, on Tuesday, during an inspection of the facility, a DTEK power engineer in Donetsk region was injured.
