KYIV. Nov 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The large Ukrainian manufacturer of paper products for sanitary and hygienic purposes Ruta, whose management company is JSC VGP (Lutsk), in January-October 2023 produced goods worth UAH 1.346 billion, which is 83 .8% more than for the same period in 2022.
According to statistical data from the UkrPapir association provided to the Interfax-Ukraine agency, the company has thus slightly slowed down the rate of growth in production volumes in monetary terms compared to the same period last year: for nine months, this figure was 90%, for eight – 97.1%.
In physical terms, in particular, the production of toilet paper in rolls increased by 47% – to 111.3 million pieces, which still remains the third result in the industry after Kyivsky Cardboard and Paper Mill (213.3 million pieces) and Kokhavynska Paper Factory (113 million units).
The company produces sanitary and hygienic products based on cellulose from imported base paper.
The VGP brand portfolio includes paper products made from 100% cellulose (napkins, toilet paper, paper handkerchiefs, kitchen towels) under the brands of Ruta, Ruta Selecta, Fesko, NosovychOk, 100% paper, Servetta, Ecolo. The range includes more than 180 items.
