KYIV. Nov 20 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The first professional shopping center SAKURA Park will open in Kamianets-Podilsky (Khmelnitsky region) in the spring of 2024, the press service of the Ukrainian Council of Shopping Centers said.
According to the managing partner of the project, Vladyslav Radetsky, the SAKURA Park shopping center will appear on 5A Yevhena Konovaltsia Street. The total project area is 12,300 square meters, project rental area is 9,000 square meters. There is parking for 80 cars. A management company, Finantrade LLC, was created to manage the project.
Radetsky said this is the first stage of a large investment project; it is represented by a three-level building with 5,000 square meters of total area and 3,500 square meters of rental one. The ground floor will house a modern conceptual grocery supermarket of a well-known chain in the region – BULKA market with an area of 700 square meters, as well as a pharmacy, pet store and home goods store. The first and second floors will house Ukrainian and international fashion chain retailers, digital equipment, jewelry, cafes, mobile accessories, etc.
Design of the second phase has already started, its opening is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2025, it will house children’s entertainment facilities, a fitness center, cafes and restaurants.
The future shopping center is adjacent to the largest park in the city, the developer has committed to invest in restoring it.
“We have planned a significant improvement in the landscaping of the territory: walking paths, recreation areas for children and adults, fountains and decorative lighting. The main highlight of the park will be the sakura alley, which is a logical continuation of our project,” Radetsky said.
