KYIV. Nov 9 (Interfax-Ukraine) – In 2022, the State Bureau of Investigations (SBI) transferred to the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) property worth almost UAH 9 billion, including real estate, vessels, assets of the Russian group of companies Tatneft and liquefied gas, the Bureau has reported.
"According to the results of the work of the State Bureau of Investigations for 10 months of this year, property worth UAH 8.926 billion 926 was handed over to ARMA. After the completion of investigations and property valuation, the value can increase significantly," the SBI said on its Telegram channel on Wednesday.
The State Bureau of Investigations said that the property of persons involved in criminal proceedings, including Russian structures, is already generating income for the state. "Income received from the management of the transferred property has already exceeded UAH 28.8 million," the SBI said.
According to the Bureau, among assets transferred to ARMA this year are 180 vehicles, 47 units of agricultural machinery, 291 real estate objects, 11 sea vessels.
During the investigation of criminal proceedings since the beginning of the year, employees of the State Bureau of Investigations discovered shares in the charter capital valued at almost UAH 820 million, more than UAH 7.85 million in cash and other valuables.
So, the corporate rights of companies affiliated with an MP-traitor were transferred to the management of ARMA. At the request of the Bureau, the court transferred the assets of two enterprises owned by citizens of the Russian Federation. In addition, 26 regional operators of gas distribution systems, the assets of the group of companies of the Russian Tatneft and liquefied gas, which PJSC Ukrnafta illegally wanted to sell, were transferred to the management of ARMA.
