Seven vessels carrying Ukrainian food exports to Indonesia, Algeria, Egypt, Israel, China, Spain, Greece

NEW YORK, UN. Dec 2 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Seven bulkers carrying wheat and other agricultural products departed Ukrainian ports on Thursday, the Joint Coordination Center (JCC) said.

"The Joint Coordination Centre (JCC) reports that seven vessels left Ukrainian ports today [on December 1] carrying a total of 266,747 tonnes of grain and other food products under the Black Sea Grain Initiative," the center said.

In particular, the Al Saad vessel is heading to Indonesia with 55,000 tonnes of wheat on board, the Golden Arsenal is carrying 27,000 tonnes of wheat to Algeria, and the Peace M is carrying 25,000 tonnes of corn to Egypt. The Trinity bulker is bound for Israel with 53,820 tonnes of corn on board, and the Star Atlas is carrying 35,719 tonnes of sunflower meal and 31,608 tonnes of corn to China.

The Nordic Skagen vessel is delivering 32,300 tonnes of corn to Spain, and the Oris Princess is heading to Greece with 6,300 tonnes of wheat on board.

Another three vessels transited the maritime humanitarian corridor on Thursday on their way to the Ukrainian ports.

Also, 74 vessels are waiting to move into the Ukrainian ports, and 21 vessels are loaded with cargo and are waiting for inspection in Turkish territorial waters so they can sail to their global destinations, the JCC said.

"As of December 1, the total tonnage of grain and other foodstuffs exported from the three Ukrainian ports is 12,610,136 tonnes. A total of 1,023 voyages (510 inbound and 513 outbound) have been enabled so far," the center said.
