By KYIV. Oct 25 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal discussed with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier the joint development of defense industries and the implementation of the Peace Formula of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
“We count on continued support for the protection of Ukrainian skies in order to protect as many people as possible from Russian terror. We are grateful to Germany for preparing a winter aid package in the amount of EUR 1.4 billion, announced by Chancellor Olaf Scholz,” the government press service quoted Shmyhal as saying following his meeting with Steinmeier in Berlin.
The Prime Minister also noted that Germany is among the leaders in Europe in terms of the volume of support for Ukraine in various areas, including in terms of arms supplies.
